Omar is mostly known as the owner of the La Corona Factory in Estelí, which makes the H.R. line of cigars for Hirochi Robaina. Before that, González Alemán spent decades in Cuba, including running both the Partagás and La Corona factories. The Leaf by Omar is comprised of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder, and premium Nicaraguan tobaccos from some of the country’s finest growing regions are used in this outstanding blends core. A rich and complex smoke with a medium to full bodied strength profile is the end result, delivering bold notes of white pepper, roasted peanuts, dark roast coffee, with a long creamy finish.
