Cuban tobacco.  Acacia Quiroga, his mother’s maternal grandmother, was the heiress to the Quiroga family business, Ron Quiroga.  Also known as Ron Pinilla, Ron Quiroga was the second largest rum company in Cuba, closely trailing the great Bacardi Family.
