Freud Cigar Co. is bringing back its celebrated limited edition with the release of the Agapi Limited Edition 2025, a cigar crafted by the legendary Eladio Díaz. This marks the second installment in the line, following the debut of “Agape” in 2023. The new spelling, Agapi, remains true to its Greek origin, representing the highest form of love, but was chosen to ensure easier pronunciation and recognition among cigar enthusiasts.
The Agapi Limited Edition 2025 is a 6 x 54 torpedo, featuring a complex blend highlighted by a Mexican-grown hybrid wrapper—habano crossed with San Andrés negro—harvested in 2017. Beneath it lies a Dominican corojo 99 binder and a filler composed of criollo 98, habano 98, negrito Dominicano, and piloto cubano. According to the company, the tobacco comes from both Mexico and the Dominican Republic, delivering a layered smoking experience that combines richness, spice, and balance.
Rolled at Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera in the Dominican Republic, this exclusive release is limited to just 300 boxes of 10 cigars. Each stick is priced at $30, the same as the 2023 edition, making it a coveted gem for collectors and connoisseurs. With its small-batch production and refined blend, the Freud Agapi Limited Edition 2025 is poised to capture the attention of aficionados seeking rarity, heritage, and sophistication in every draw.
