Eladio Diaz Honors His Roots with La Diana

Eladio Diaz is set to launch La Diana, his second core line cigar, at the beginning of July. Produced at his own Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera (TDC) in the Dominican Republic, these full-bodied cigars will be distributed by Arango Cigar Co. The line includes three vitolas: Brevas (4 1/2 x 46, $7.50), Biloria (5 x 52, $11), and Vencosme (6 x 54, $12.50), all offered in 20-count boxes.

Crafted with an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper, a San Andrés binder, and Dominican fillers like Corojo, Criollo '98, and Negrito—plus some Peruvian Pelo de Oro—the blend marks one of Diaz’s boldest creations.

More than just a new release, La Diana pays tribute to Diaz’s mentor, Francisco “Panchito” Biloria Vencosme. The cigar takes its name from the factory where Diaz began his journey at only seven years old, spending eight years under Panchito’s guidance.

After decades with Davidoff, Diaz began his independent venture in 2021. He initially focused on small-scale productions and collaborations until he debuted his first core line, Before & After, last year. Now, with La Diana, he continues shaping his legacy on his own terms.
