La Galera is expanding its range of cigars available in the compact 3 5/8 x 46 half corona format, sold in convenient tins. Currently available in two lines, this format will soon be featured in six of the brand’s blends by the end of the month.
The new additions include the 1936 Box Pressed, Anemoi, Imperial Jade, and La Galera Maduro lines. Each tin, containing five handmade cigars, will retail for $36.19—approximately $7.24 per cigar. This size is already part of the La Galera Connecticut and Corojo offerings.
Despite their smaller size, the cigars are crafted entirely by hand at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic. The 1936 line is uniquely box-pressed, while the others retain a traditional round shape.
La Galera anticipates that the newly sized cigars will be available in stores by the end of May.
